Personally, while I preferred things as they were before, and have expressed to Rob my thoughts on that matter, I can see his reasons for changing things. There's no reason whatsoever for a Catholic priest to have a fighting style, same thing with some of the others who'd taken them. That being said, I think there will always be some level of abuse with fighting styles, so all that can be hoped for is to minimize said abuse. Ergo, I think there will be far less abuse with this current system with advantages than with the old one with modifier bonuses.
